International Day for the Eradication of Poverty

The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty (IDEP) is a global day of awareness, advocacy and action against poverty, marked every year on October 17^th. This year’s IDEP October 17^th 2022, theme is “Dignity for All in Practice: The Commitments we Make Together for Social Justice, Peace and Planet.” Join us in commemorating IDEP 2022 by making pledges for action to empower children and help them overcome poverty. We aim to mobilise communities to plant 1 million trees, create safe spaces to listen to children, and meaningfully involve children in actions to alleviate poverty, among many joint actions.
